Tool Black Gel products for blackening steel and other ferrous metals. The Gel product line is particularly useful where application of a liquid would be impractical, such as a vertical surface. Tool Black Gel is VOC free. No special mechanical equipment or heating/ventilating system required. Effective if used properly: parts should be properly cleaned, blackened, and sealed according to the manufacturer's instructions. The kit (model PRE-45326) contains a cleaner, Tool Black gel, and Prevent protective film. All three products may also be purchased separately. Sold in one pint containers.
