Morse Taper to Jacobs Taper Drill Chuck Arbors. These arbors are typically used to hold Jacobs Taper-backed drill chucks in Morse Taper spindles/sockets. These Morse Taper arbors have a tang end. They are not available with a drawbar end. To purchase the correct arbor for your application, determine the size of both ends of the necessary arbor: the Morse Taper end (which fits into your machine's drive spindle, tailstock, sockets, etc.) and the Jacobs Taper end (which fits into your drill chuck's Jacobs Taper back.) For more information about chucks, arbors, and Morse or Jacobs Taper dimensions, please visit our Drill Chuck Mounting page, which can also be found in our "Metalworking Reference" section of this website.
