Hardened and ground steel. All sides are ground square and parallel to each other.

Models VB-1, VB-2, VB-505, and VB-510 work vertically only.

Matched accuracy of the precision models VB-505 and VB-510 is .0002".
Economy models VB-1 and VB-2 are not held to the same tolerances.

90 degree V's are ground central, parallel, and square with the ends. Matched in pairs.
Precision models are made in Poland by Bison/TMX
