Left Hand Taps and Dies, Metric

Metric Left Hand Plug taps. High Speed Steel. Ground Thread.

All of the taps on this page are Plug style only.
This is the most common style of hand tap, with 3-4 lead threads ground.
To determine the proper drill size for a metric hole-to-be-tapped, just subtract the pitch of the tap from the diameter of the tap to yield the drill diameter. As an example: a hole-to-be-tapped as 4mm x .7 needs to be drilled with a 3.3mm drill bit.
