Specify width, number of teeth, blade material and EXACT LENGTH (to nearest 1/8"). Lengths between those listed are priced as the next foot length. For example: 6' 7" is priced as 7 feet. Carbon Steel 'Quiksilver Hardedge Flexback' blades are general purpose bandsaw blades for wood cutting, plastic, and free machining metals. Carbon blades are available in: Standard (raker) tooth: 0° rake, rounded gullet, suitable for most applications - this pattern is provided unless otherwise specified. Hook tooth: 10° positive rake for greater feeds; for wood, cast iron, or larger sections of mild steel. Skip tooth: more chip clearance on soft materials such as aluminum, soft brass and plastics. BiMetal Matrix II blades have greater heat resistance, and good toughness and shock resistance. They are a good general purpose blade for metal cutting. BiMetal blades are appropriate for solids and interrupted cuts like pipe, angle iron, or tubing.
