White-grained aluminum oxide wheels for surface and finish grinding.
Vitrified bond.
Flaring cup wheel: 4" to 3" slope x 1 1/2" high x 1 1/4" hole.
Tips and hints for choosing grades of white surface grinding wheels:
Softer grades (H and I) are recommended for hard materials, rapid stock removal, and larger contact areas.
Harder grades ( J and K) are recommended for soft materials, longer wheel life, small contact areas.
To make a wheel behave harder, decrease infeed rate, traverse speed, work speed, or through-feed rate.
To make a wheel behave softer, increase infeed rate, traverse speed, work speed, or through-feed rate.
