Bison 3-Jaw Self-Centering Universal Lathe Chucks with Threaded Backs.
Cast Iron body.
Excellent quality lathe chucks made in Poland by BISON.
The 2 and 4 inch "Type M290" chucks include 1 set of hard solid reversable jaws and key.
The 5 through 8 inch "Type P290" chucks include 1 set of hard reversible top jaws, 1 set hard master jaws, and key.
Type P290 chucks can also take soft (machinable) top jaws. This is useful for custom workholding.
Please Note: Model TBC-2 is a steel-bodied chuck (with one set of solid reversable jaws.) It is intended for mini-lathes such as Unimat 3 and Emco.
As a rough rule of thumb, chucks of 10" OD and larger will ship using freight services, requiring a dock, personnel, and equipment at the shipping address.
