Bison 3-Jaw Self-Centering Universal Lathe Chucks with Threaded Backs. Cast Iron body. Excellent quality lathe chucks made in Poland by BISON. Type M290 chucks include 1 set of hard solid external (OD) jaws and 1 set of hard solid internal (ID) jaws and key. Type P290 chucks include 1 set of hard reversible top jaws, 1 set hard master jaws, and key. Type P290 chucks can also take soft (machinable) top jaws. This is useful for custom workholding. Model TBC-2 is a steel-bodied chuck with one set of solid reversable jaws. It is intended for mini-lathes such as Unimat 3 and Emco.

4-jaw Lathe Chucks. Independent, Reversible jaws. Plain-Back chucks. (A backplate is necessary to mount these chucks on a machine; these backplates are normally machined by the end-user to fit their equipment.) Chuck Key included. Mounting Notes: 3" and 4" chucks mount from the back, not with screws going through the face ot the chuck. 6" and larger chucks are mounted vis screws in the face of the chuck, allowing a smaller back plate to be used.

Bison collet chucks have a forged steel body and forged scroll. T.I.R. .0004" Holds standard 5C collets. Plain Back - For mounting with adapter plates. Please call or e-mail for the adapter plates. Can be used for turning, facing, boring, grinding and milling on center lathes and grinding machines. Features a simple key-operated scroll, allowing uniform clamping and quick collet exchange.
